The East Texas Horse Show Association was founded in 1962 with the specific purpose of promoting fellowship and friendship among amateur horse people in East Texas. It's goal is to keep alive the tradition of the Texas horseman and to encourage fair play, set definite rules for contests, and to promote goodwill and sportsmanship.

Contestants must ride in at
least 4 out 7 of shows to qualify for year end awards.
Pleasure contestants must
compete in at least three (3) performance events in every show they compete for points to count for year end awards.

groups for year end high point & reserve high point:
